The application to get Styx a star on the  Hollywood Walk of Fame goes in on Tuesday.  I finally had to get Jeanne to  track Tommy down and get him to take care of the paperwork I'd given him...have  I mentioned that Jeanne RULES?  Anyway, it's all set, and I'll be bringing  in the papers in person first thing Tuesday morning.  Well,  that is, first thing after the freeway insanity is over at about 10 am!   

The application, along with the letter from  the band (agreeing to attend the induction), a photo and a copy of BBT, all go  to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.  They will vote on who is to be  approved for this year, and the announcement will be made in June.  I think  Styx has an excellent chance of being picked, especially since Journey got in  last year, but I'm sure that I'll be on pins and needles until I hear the  results.  Keep everything crossed, burn a candle, shave a goat or whatever  it is that you do to get a positive outcome! 

This wouldn't be happening without the help of  a lot of people, including the band, Keith, George, JEANNE, Helen (my  inspiration), Sheri, Sharon my determined scribe, and too many more to  list.  The fact that this is a group effort means the world to me, because  the Styx fan community has to be one of the nicest that exists.  

Should they be approved, they will schedule  the induction to coincide with the release of the next studio album.
